Winter 2018 Commission Status: Closed – not accepting new commissions until Spring

Please note that during busy seasons (like Halloween and Mardi Gras) my schedule books up very fast – it’s a good idea to place your order in advance.
This is a collaborative process and good communication is essential. I want you to be happy, so kindly read through my ordering process and terms so that we’re on the same page!
How to order:
1) Read and accept the terms outlined below, then use the inquiry form to describe your project. Once we’ve agreed upon a design, price and timeline, I require a non-refundable deposit of 50% for orders of $100 or more, while orders under $100 must be pre-paid in full. Your deposit is applied toward the cost of your project, and it secures your spot on my calendar – without it, I can’t begin work or hold your spot in line.
2) When the work is complete, I’ll send photos. Hopefully you’ll love it, and we can go directly to step 3. Otherwise, you can ask for basic adjustments like simple shaping or accents.
3) Once you’ve approved the final design, the remaining 50% of the balance becomes due. Your piece will be shipped upon receipt of the final payment. When it ships, I’ll send you an update with any applicable tracking information.
Alterations and upgrades: Moderate and simple changes are reasonable, but extensive changes will require an upcharge. This is rare, but please be mindful. If your changes deviate substantially from the original design, or significantly increase the time or cost required to create your piece, the price will be adjusted accordingly. You’ll be informed of any price changes in advance, so that you can approve or forego the requested alterations.
Communication and timeline: We’ll set a timeline for your project’s start date and completion. When the work is complete, I’ll provide photos for your approval. Until you receive those photos, please limit email to necessary communication and updates. While I value your thoughts and strive to answer all questions, this is a one woman show and I can only answer email once a day. This helps to ensure that I’ll have the time to create wonderful things for you!
Copyright: In the interest of professional courtesy (not to mention good karma) I won’t duplicate another artist’s designs; please don’t even ask. Similarly, I can’t replicate copyrighted comic book characters, mascots or trademarked logos without permission from their legal owner. Finally, purchase of an item does not constitute an automatic transfer of copyright. You’re purchasing the item itself — I retain all copyrights, and I reserve the right to reproduce the design or to share photos of the finished work on my website and portfolio. Design rights can be negotiated separately.
Deposit: The deposit is non refundable.
Returns: All sales of custom work are final, so let’s work together to create something that you’ll love for years to come!
