MEASUREMENTS + MATERIALS
✠Measures approximately 15″ w by 9″ h at the highest and widest points.
✠Ties with gorgeous and durable stretch lace ribbon straps (included).
✠Hand crafted using tooling leather, dye, paint, sealant and quality ribbon ties.
These headpieces are cut and sculpted from high quality tooling leather, and then dyed and painted black. The color is carefully sealed front and back. They measure about 15″ wide by 9″ high, and tie on like a mask, using gorgeous and durable stretch ribbon straps. This headpiece is a frontal facade, or an eyeless mask – it is not a hat or helm, so it does not go all the way around the head. Some of the older photos show little roses at the sides, but the current version does not have roses.
Since each piece of leather is unique, and each crown is handcrafted, you should expect minor variations. These photos show several versions that have already sold – as you can see, there are minor differences from one to the next. Each one has unique details and character, but they share the same style and quality. The last several photos show some of my past customers wearing this design in black or white. I hope that these will give you a good sense of the size and fit.
