My sculpted leather circlets are hand cut and carefully shaped from fine tooling leather, with detailed swirls and curls. Each one is hand cut, sculpted, and painted. This one has a rich shimmering cobalt base with metallic bronze details, which has been finished with a protective topcoat. It is accented with faceted crystal beads in complimentary hues.
This is one of my smaller circlet designs, so it also works beautifully as a choker or collar. The spikes and whorls are only about 1.5″ tall at the highest points. It measures about 12″ around, which fits as a half or demi-crown on most adults; this size is quite versatile, in that you can wear it across the brow like a traditional crown, or atop the head like more of a tiara (see last photo), or as a choker. It ties on like a mask, with gorgeous and durable stretch lace or ribbon.
