This filigree leather crown has an elvish or fae look. It was made with the finest materials available – premium quality tooling leather, artist quality acrylic paints, and gems and jewelry components from my 25+ year collection. It was hand cut from my original pattern, hand sculpted into graceful twists and curls, hand painted, sealed with a protective top coat, and then embellished with beads and gems.
Painted in brilliant shades of cobalt and indigo, with metallic silver and pewter accents. At the center is a silver metal filigree, framed by two organic quartz crystal points (one up, one down). The band of the crown is dotted with silver toned rivets for added texture and interest.
It measures about 13″ around by 3″ high at the highest point. It ties on like a mask, using color coordinated stretch elastic ties. It fits as a half crown or demi crown, and can be worn around the forehead, tied across the top of your head like a headband, or even as a (thicker) choker around your neck.
