These funky old (possibly vintage?) bone beads have been updated with a laser engraved henna design that covers the entire front surface. The back side is plain, and the bone has been aged with a coffee or tea stain. Note that some of these highly magnified photos make the design look a bit grainy; it is smoother in person.
The beads have an asymmetrical teardrop shape, and they’re wire wrapped with black metal wire. These earrings have great movement, swinging playfully from black electroplated brass earring hooks. They measure about 2.5″ long, and they’ll dangle a little over 2″ from the base of the earlobe.
My selection of these quirky old bone beads is quite limited, so I won’t be making many of these engraved bone pieces!
