These dangling leather and gemstone earrings have an autumn birch leaf design. They mix rich earth tones with brass leaf chain for a wonderful falling leaves effect.
MEASUREMENTS + MATERIALS
✭ The earrings measure approximately 3.65″ total, and should dangle about 3.25″ from the earlobe.
✭ The French hook earwires have a gorgeous antique copper finish.
✭ Hand crafted using premium tooling leather, dye, paint, antique copper leaf chain, wire, and semiprecious stone beads.
✭ Gemstones include: faceted hessonite garnet, faceted carnelian agate and red tigers eye.
The leather leaves were made by me, and like all of my leathercraft, they were cut, carved and shaped before being dyed, painted in a warm metallic brown. The color is sealed with a protective topcoat. It’s a lot of little steps, but the end result is a beautiful and unique bit of wearable art.
The leaves hang from antique copper leaf chain, which compliments the color nicely. The chain is accented with semiprecious stone dangles that include high quality faceted hessonite garnet, faceted carnelian agate and red tigers eye. and copper beads. They hang from high quality French hook earwires with an antique copper finish.
