This handcrafted leather mask showcases a filigree moth design in shimmering hues of olive green and bronze. This is the 11th mask in this limited edition series, and each one is unique. This one features peacock and pheasant feathers; each feather has been hand cut and glued in place, one feather at a time.
The leather base features intricately shaped twists and curls, and moth’s body is comprised of a brilliant beetle wing, set in a hand sewn bezel of premium quality Japanese glass seed beads.
It measures about 7″ high by 12″ wide, measuring at the highest and widest points. It secures with gorgeous and durable stretch lace straps.
The last photos show this moth mask next to a very similar “flame” design in red and bronze. The two pieces are sold separately, but they’d make a lovely pair. You can find the red one here.
