Description
This original beaded necklace has a garden motif, and several people have commented that the lines of the pendant are suggestive of a woman’s figure. As such, I’m calling her a garden goddess 🙂
She showcases a vintage floral cabochon with gorgeous play of light effects. The color shifts from cerulean blue to emerald to purple, depending on the angle and quality of light. I’ve tried to photograph it from several angles to give you a good sense of how the colors shift. Below this is a second vintage glass stone in pale aqua; this cab also has play of light effects, but it’s a more subtle moonstone or cat’s eye effect.
Both stones are set in beaded bezels, comprised of glass seed beads in shades of seafoam and teal. The pendant is accented with a variety of glass leaves and flowers, and the garden motif continues up the neckline with a series of glass leaf beads.
The pendant measures just shy of 2.5″ high x 1.5″ wide. The neckline is adjustable from about 18″ – 20″
