Description
Deep red garnet adorns these gorgeous laser engraved bone earrings. The effect looks almost like scrimshaw. The bone pieces are fairly old – possibly vintage – and they’ve been repurposed with a beautiful paisley pattern.
MEASUREMENTS + MATERIALS
✭ Measure about 2.75″ long total, or a little over 2.5″ from the base of the earlobe.
✭ Hand crafted using red garnet, bone, wire and black niobium earring hooks.
These old bone beads were laser engraved with a mehndi design that covers the entire front surface. The back side is plain, and the bone has been aged with a coffee or tea stain. Note that some of these highly magnified photos make the design look a bit grainy; it is smoother in person.
The last photo shows a happy customer wearing a different pair of earrings in this same style. While hers use a different stone and metal type, the overall size and shape are very close.
