This one of a kind crystal crown is especially versatile! As you can see from the photos, you can wear it (at least) three different ways – across the brow like a traditional crown, across the top of your head like a bonnet, or coiled up small like a tiny burlesque crown.
It was entirely hand crafted from premium tooling leather, and it’s accented with a series of 5 vintage glass icicles as well as 9 natural quartz crystals. It is dusted with a liberal coating of ultrafine iridescent glitter, so it sparkles like mad! I was not able to fully capture this effect in the photos (I’ll keep trying) but in the meantime, here’s a video that at least hints at how sparkly this thing is.
When stretched out flat, it measures about 11″ long, and it coils down to about 3.75″. The tallest spire is 8″ tall. It attaches using ties (like a mask) and it also has little loops so that you can attach it to a headband if you want to wear it as a tiny crown. Despite all of the stones and glass, this piece is still very lightweight – it weighs a grand total of 4.6 oz.
Please note that the vintage glass pieces are fragile, so I would not recommend that this piece be used as a child’s costume or toy.
