This unisex leather feather pendant was inspired by bold red hawk feathers. The design is earthy, rustic and suitable for men and women alike.
The feather was handcrafted from premium tooling leather, and painted in warm tones of brick red, burnt orange, terra cotta, beige and cocoa. The color has been sealed with a protective top coat. The quill is wire wrapped with antique copper colored wire, and decorated with a spiral design. It hangs from an antique copper coated brass chain, which measures 18″ long and fastens with a lobster claw clasp.
My leather craft is created using high quality materials and over 25 years of leather working skill. Beauty and quality craftsmanship are important to me, so I don’t do “quick and dirty” work; I patiently design, cut, carve, shape, paint and seal each piece. This takes longer than other methods, but the end result is an original, handmade work of wearable art that you can be proud to gift or cherish for years to come.
