This hand crafted leather mask gives a nod to Cernunnos, the mythic stag lord of Celtic lore. It would make a wonderful accent to any nature themed costume!
MEASUREMENTS + MATERIALS
✭ Materal: tooling leather, moss agate gemstone, dye, paint, sealant, and quality ribbon ties.
✭ Measures approximately 11″ wide by 8.5″ high at the highest and widest points
✭ Ties with gorgeous and durable stretch elastic straps (included).
Hand sculpted from premium tooling leather, and painted in rich chocolate brown and ivory with pops of sage and hunter green. The willowy antlers resemble tree branches, festooned with ferns. At the forehead is a single ivy leaf, set with a moss agate stone with drusy crystal formations. The stone has a natural heart shaped hole where the tiny crystal clusters peek through.
An ancient deity, the horned man represented nature, fertility, and hunting. He was a benevolent forest spirit, and lord of all things wild.
The last two photos show similar masks being worn by real humans. They’re not exactly the same design as this one, but they’re similar enough to give a general sense of size.
