I was inspired to create these little yellow roses after seeing the devastation from Hurricane Harvey. Before I could complete them, catastrophic storms touched town in Florida, Puerto Rico, and now California too. Thus, I’ll be donating 50% of the proceeds from these pieces to the American Red Cross through the end of 2017.
This listing is for one of the smaller leather roses. They measure just shy of 2″ tall by 4.75″ wide at the tallest and widest points, thought hey’ll curve up to be a bit smaller when worn. You can choose between a 2.5″ metal French clip barrette finding, or a 4.5″ wooden stick. If you choose a stick , the holes will be spaced at about 2.5″ apart, which is a smaller spacing that is well suited for fine hair. If your hair is on the thicker side, this spacing will work best for half updos, as a ponytail holder or as a shawl pin.
