May this holiday season find you in good health and good cheer!
I’ve just added a (super) tiny new collection to the site, for any last minute shoppers. This is my last site update for 2023. The year is winding to a close, and I’m ready to tuck in for winter to rest and hibernate.
My last holiday shipping run will be Monday December 18th. That is the USPS recommended deadline for Christmas delivery for domestic US orders. Since it’s one week before Christmas, they do encourage priority mail.
Thanks so much for your support, and Happy Holidays to all!
We’re starting to feel the first hints of fall here in western Washington! This is my favorite season ~ rich in color and scent, perfect temperatures, and (if you’re a gardener, like me) bountiful harvests.
We spent much of the summer traveling and working on home improvements. Life got super busy for a bit, but I’m settling back into the studio now. The changing season has me working on masks, costume accessories, and other autumnal creations.
The antlered stag mask shown here is a new variant on an old design, and I’m quite pleased with it. I hope that you will be too! There are many more costume creations in the works, as well as jewelry, hair accessories, and a few new surprises. Please check back often to see these new works as they’re added to the site!
A small collection of new work will go live on the website tonight at 6 pm PST (or 9 pm for those of you on the east coast).
It will include a smattering of mixed media jewelry pieces:
Those little dragonfly hair accessories that I previewed last week:
As well as a small selection of leather peacock feather hair slides and French clip barrettes:
I sincerely hope you’ll love these offerings!
New work just added ~
While I’d hoped to have more to share tonight, it just wasn’t in the cards. As is typical for the Pacific Northwest this time of year, it has been dark and gloomy and dumping rain all week. Not ideal weather for photography (in fact, I’ll likely go back and re-photograph many of these pieces the next time that the weather is favorable). Perhaps I’ll trickle in a few more pieces over the weekend if time and light allows.
In the meantime, I hope you’ll enjoy the pieces that I’ve shared tonight! Also, just a friendly reminder that my holiday ordering dates are coming up quickly. If you’re in the US, there’s still time to order for the holidays, though I’d urge you not to procrastinate too much!

Cali Love Fire Benefit Tattoo & Holiday Gift Bazaar on Sunday 12/16 ~
Last but not least, I mentioned in my last post that my November giveaway winner is choosing to donate her prize to the Cali Love Fire Benefit Tattoo & Holiday Gift Bazaar this Sunday 12/16 at Eye of the Tiger Tattoo in San Francisco. The proceeds from this event will go to benefit the families who are working to rebuild their lives after the #Campfire in Paradise, CA last month. Two of my friends’ families lost their home in that fire, so this event is near and dear to my heart. With that said, I am choosing to match Angel’s donation of my Sacred Heart sugar skull mask, by adding a second “Abuelita” sugar skull mask. If you’re in the Bay Area this weekend, please consider attending and supporting this special cause!
Can’t remember if I’ve shared these yet, so forgive me if it’s a repeat… Here’s a new variation of my popular raven feather barrettes. These have multiple holes, so that they can be worn with a variety of hairstyles, and they feature a funky galaxy theme. I’m debating whether to call them “Galactic Ravens” or “Cosmic Crows”. Either way, you’ll find them in Monday’s shop update.
